Today's Asia Minor and Turkey  - anciently referred to as Troas in the maps above - generated the myth of the Trojan horse. The purpose of the myth was to inform this Humanity that there would be a Horse of sorts that would reveal real hidden treasures, NOT ARMIES, NOR GOLD OR SILVER. 

And indeed later in History they reached that Huge Horse. But, as usual, no one were able to spot the Horse of the ancient myth. Because for that they would have needed a BIGGER PAIR OF EYES and and more awareness!
